My voice teacher doesn’t understand. I can’t stand learning music theory. I’m terrible, that’s why I’m not majoring in music.

Her: WHAT?!?! WHY?!!

Her: I think you’re a great candidate for this major.

Her: Well, you should consider minoring in musical theatre, or music. It would show that you are able to expand your art abilities even more.. so let’s practice singing your major and minor scales. Do you know your triads? How to make your scale augmented, diminished? What note do you change? Blah blah blah
